Looking for Commercial Underwriters

Commercial Underwriters. East Bay San Francisco, CA.
“A” rated carrier has addition to staff openings for underwriters with two or more years of commercial lines experience.
You can bring an all-lines background, a package background, or a casualty lines background. (No pure monoline will work).
All lines premiums tend to range in the $200-$300k area.
A 4 year college degree is required.
This is one of the more solid P&C carriers in the country, and cone people are there, few ever leave.

Health Care Reform and Premiums

What is the general consensus on the affect of health care reform on medical insurance premiums? Most of the agents I have talked to said rates would go down initially and then within a couple of years be back up at or above current levels. The difference is that more of it will be paid by uncle Sam so more people will be able to afford it. There really is no reform, only a change in where the costs will be incur… Continue

Cauton - Beware - Guaranteed Appointments from London's Insurance Solutiuons

We signed up with Sean London in December 2008.

We paid him $3,400.00 for insurance appointments. He guaranteed appointments within 30 days.

As of today we received one bogus appointment and a lot of lip service from Sean London.

I caution any agents out there about doing business with Seasn London since as of today our results are terrible - no appointments - no reply from Sean London until we phone and hound him and if we are lucky to get him on
