Workplace Benefits Renaissance 2010

I wanted to call your attention to an event I will be attending in Downtown Nashville on March 24th and 25th that you may have some interest in – Workplace Benefits Renaissance 2010.

There will be approximately 80 vendors of products and services for Worksite Marketing professionals, along with over 30 presentation sessions and several hundred attendees.

Transamerica Worksite Marketing, the administrative office of Transamerica Life Insurance Company, is responsible for the creation, implementation, marketing and administration of a broad range of insurance products offered by companies to their employees. We are recruiting for a Regional Vice President in the Houston market.

This position is responsible for the sales of Transamerica Worksite Marketing and affiliate products, programs and services through the independent agent distribution system. The incumbent will perform recruiting, contracting, and training of the independent agents and will act as their liaison with the home office staff, ensuring sales goals are met through excellent programs and customer service. The incumbent will also be responsible for identifying and contracting enrollment companies and affiliates.

Requirements include
4 year college degree or equivalent experience required
A minimum of 5 years sales and sales management experience required with demonstrated record of success
4 years broker/agency experience preferred, 2 years experience required
Voluntary and/or group health sales experience required.
Prior management experience preferred
A valid driver's license is required

I am a experienced benefit enroller with 35 years of experience in the life and health insurance industry(underwriter, Ops Manager, case manager, recruiter, call center experience).
I have 19 years as a benefit enroller involved with paper and computer based enrollments with unions and associations.
Also willing to travel on the border of Los Angeles/Ventura Counties.

My experience is in Voluntary Life, Disability, AD&D, Cancer, Accident and Sickness, Medical, Dental, Vision, LTC products, and other products.
My insurance industry specialty is educating the public on purchasing the proper products for their needs so they keep their protection!
