Here’s the answer for author’s or writer’s fear of being involved in negligent authoring litigation.

WriteInsure™ is an automated media perils insurance program created specifically for authors of books, self-publishers, bloggers, freelance writers, POD publishers, one title publishers and vanity or subsidy publishers. Please take a “test drive” to see how amazingly simple and “user friendly” WriteInsure is. Follow these few steps:

FIRST go to www.publiability.com, then

1. Click on the WriteInsure™ link

2. Complete the section(s) of the application for the activity(ies) carefully, and Submit.

3. Receive your WriteInsure™ quotation & approval to proceed. Check it! Return to WriteInsure™ if you wish to make any changes, such as the selection of greater limits of liability/protection, or adding/deleting coverage for an activity

4. Pay for your new policy via PayPal. Your complete policy will be e-mail to you immediately once payment has been confirmed

All in about 6 or 7 minutes.

WriteInsure™ offers limits of liability insurance protection from $100,000 each claim with a $300,000 aggregate all the way up to and including $1,000,000.
The WriteInsure™ policy is a comprehensive “occurrence form” policy providing traditional media perils such as, but not limited to, libel, plagiarism, piracy, copyright infringement, defamation, infringement of the right of privacy or publicity, outrage, infliction of emotional distress, and misappropriation of property rights and much, much more. Importantly, legal defense costs are included.
By the way, there are a couple of small errors on the site that are in the process of correction. For example, it states that there is a membership involved – there is no such thing.
E-Mail MikeMansel@publiability.com or call 800-669-140 with questions.
