Online Press Releases work well - even at a local level. Google seems to gobble these up and likes to display them on the first page of natural results!

You can submit releases for free over at:

www.prlog.org
www.free-press-release.com
www.prurgent.com
www.pressmethod.com

Use the major keyword you wish to rank for in the title of the release so for example : if you are looking to rank for Life Cover use that in the title of the press release.

Good luck. Please feel free to hare your experiences and sites to submit too. I don't use PRWeb but get just as good a result without!

Hi everyone,

I'm so glad to find you just poking around this new gem of a web site.I have a great interest in marketing in the insurance industry and I so glad to find some experienced people out there to share some ideas and learn.

I have business associate who has developed a "system" that creates an "on-line" agency that ties into the typical online marketing leads, etc.

One of his mentors (you'll know who they are in SoCal) suggested to Rick to write an Ebook. Great idea to brand yourself as a published author. This also helps your resume' / Bio when you're doing seminars. Cool book with links all over it to see his ideas in action.

Another online marketing idea that gives your clients value before they even do business with you is found at Consumer Rewards. Give your clients access to saving up to 60% on the products and services they already buy and receive up to 20% rebates on everything they purchase. They will love you.

This project also works well as a door opener with businesses. I use it as an employee rewards program, providing an immediate benefit to the employees of the company with no up front money from the employees or the employer.

We recently surpassed 10,000 independent agents who subsribe. I'd be interested in any feedback any of you might have from a marketing perspective.

Robert,

You very well could be on to something. It does take creative minds coming together to do the impossible.

Thanks for sharing,

While taking ad copywriting courses for a couple of years, I've concluded that our industry's ads are boring and uninspiring. If enough creative minds can come together here and travel on the unbeaten paths of marketing, our sales will become more frequent and easier.

See for yourself at http://www.preferredclub.com/agency kit. We provide the tools that the agent will need or want to provide to their insured(s), but we send to the insureds -- after trade shows or to association mailing lists, etc -- and we make it crystal clear that they need to forward this to their agent. This is essentially "outside" our general web site which does not link to this kit (easily).

Richard -

When you refer to online Agency Kits, are they promotional pieces regarding insurance needs for consumers? Or something else - any info appreciated - thanks.
