Start your tweet with the tag #followfriday and then make recommendations on who other people should follow and why. And it's good twitter etiquette to tweet a thank you to anyone who recommended you.

Twitter Tip:

Make sure to use websites link TinyURL.com to shrink the links in your tweets. Shorter links = better chance of your message being RT (re-tweeted)

Keep your tweets of value to 120 characters so that other people can RT (re-tweet) and include your @name.
